I have children’s toys on my site and I wanted to make sure that the toys that I offer are safe for kids. Here is a copy of what my supplier said,

You our customer have every reason to trust the safety of our products. Our products meet all British, European and USA standards for toy safety and are quality controlled to the highest standards. We test continually each of our products to make sure they are safe for children; both in the design and the materials that are used to make them.
All of Galt America products (whether wooden or not) comply with the requirements of EN71 – Part 3, which specifically relates to the migration of certain elements from toy materials (I.e. The Toxicity). The test method is designed to replicate the effect of ingesting the toy components and Lead is one of the 8 elements investigated: the maximum allowable (migrated) level of lead in the toy can’t exceed 90 milligrams per kg. Compliance with EN71-2 demonstrates that Galt America products do not exceed these recommended levels and are therefore considered safe.
All plastic made toys and products are produced without the use of PVC and do not contain phthalates.
